This barrier is an important component in building construction that helps prevent water vapor from reaching building walls, ceilings, attics, crawlspaces or roofs, where it can condense and cause building materials to rot or grow mold. Our Unique Approach To Crawlspace Service

As with all our services, the first step is a visual inspection. Once the team has walked the entire crawlspace, they are able to develop a service plan to get your crawlspace in perfect shape.

1. VISUAL INSPECTION

The team will walk the entire crawlspace to determine problem areas, possible leaks, and unsealed areas in addition to taking a moisture reading to highlight any issues with ventilation and conditioning.

2. VAPOR BARRIER

The team will determine the proper thickness for the vapor barrier following the visual inspection. The barrier is expertly installed and secured to ensure coverage and protection.

3. DEHUMIDIFIER / CONDENSATION PUMP INSTALLATION

Depending on the moisture rating, the team may recommend installing a dehumidifier and a condensation pump. This system will control the moisture level in the crawlspace and keep it at an ideal level year-round. Crawlspaces that are too high in moisture can become breeding grounds for pests and rodents.

4. sEALING

Another critical component of our crawlspace service is vent sealing and exclusion work to maintain ideal moisture levels and keep unwanted pests from entering the area.
